Nathan and I just set up my lettuce balls!  Lettuce balls, you ask?  Yep!  Lettuce balls or salad balls as my inspiration calls them…

Remember the seedlings I planted and am growing?  Well, once they are ready for transplanting, they’ll go into these planters.  Here’s a slideshow showing the steps…Enjoy!

    hiya ann! i’ve been silently enjoying your blog updates, and check here everyday for new ones!!! it’s so nice to see what you guys are up to, and i’m really excited to see how these lettuce balls turn out (there’s something about the names “lettuce balls” and “salad balls” that is a bit weird for me! of course, i can’t seem to come up with anything better…)

    thanks for giving me something to look forward to everyday. maybe one day i can be organized enough to have a blog too 😉
